The Victorian House Hotel in Glasgow wants your stay to be as pleasant and carefree as possible. To save you time before and during your time with us, and for your peace of mind before you arrive, we have compiled a list of FAQs that we hope you find useful.

We wish to advise you that there are a small number of steps leading up the hotel, and the hotel does not have a lift. Please enquire directly with the hotel as some of rooms are ground floor and are accessible.

If you need to cancel your reservation with us, it is important to know that we can only help with bookings that have been made directly on our website or with the hotel. Third party companies will have their own cancellation policy.

Cancellations should be made 48 hours before arrival by contacting our reservations team on (+44) 0141 332 0129 or email info@thevictorian.co.uk Bookings received within 48 hours of arrival will be subject to full cancellation charge.

*All non-arrivals, prepaid reservations and cancellations within 48 hours of arrival are non-refundable.

We welcome our guests to check in between 12.00 and 23.45. Check out is from 10.30 to 11.00. We understand that you may arrive at an earlier time, and we are happy to store your luggage safely until your room becomes available. Our front desk is open 24 hours. Please ask us if you need a wakeup call during your stay.

The Victorian House Hotel understand that personal items can be forgotten or left behind after you check out. Please call us as soon as you can, and we will assist you in reuniting you with your personal item. We are not liable for any loss or damage of a guest’s personal items during your stay.

Should any damages occur to hotel property during your stay must be paid for at the front desk before departure

Yes. Groups are very welcome at The Victorian House Hotel. We offer one free place per 20 paying guests. For more information call our reservations team, A 50% deposit is required 6 weeks prior to your check in date.

We supply complimentary Wi-Fi in all public areas and hotel rooms.

You can find us at 212 Renfrew Street, Glasgow G3 6TX. We are conveniently located 2 minutes’ walk from the world-renowned Glasgow School of Art and Sauchiehall Street.

We do have limited parking available on site. The charge is £6.00 per day. Prebooking is not required.

Pets are not allowed at our hotel. Service/Guide dogs are welcome.

Our hotel runs a strictly non-smoking policy, and all bedrooms are non-smoking. We do offer designated outdoor areas where guests can smoke.
